A small team from Bless Back Worldwide joined us in Haiti this week. After almost a year of not being able to come to Haiti, it was such a joy to have them here on the ground once again. There was lots of work to do in the medical clinic - inventories, meetings, de-wormings, and basic assisting. We also did a mobile clinic outreach and food distribution in the village of Fauche. We were so excited to welcome a small team of returning friends from Bless Back Worldwide this afternoon! We look forward to a great week with them! Thanks to generous donors, we have not only been distributing food, but also giving out gifts to many children living in orphanages these past couple of weeks. It seems appropriate that I would visit our church in St. Etienne this morning. (And yes, that IS a chicken in the church, listening to my husband preach! Personally Inspired
What can I share with you, just 4 days after my arrival back in Haiti? One word comes to mind: INSPIRATION! This post will be about how I'm experiencing inspiration, but you will understand that when "mama" is inspired (OR happy) EVERYONE is inspired (AND happy)! We came so close to cancelling our annual Christian Leadership Academy this past week. Those who were scheduled to minister this year had various reasons for needing to back out - not the least of which was the un
