Gratitude for Partners in Ministry: A Season of Excitement and Impact
As we approach the end of another fruitful season at Mission of Hope International, I would like to pause and express my heartfelt gratitude to all who partner with us in prayer, service, and generosity. It’s because of you that our work continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of so many families across Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Your prayers and support are what sustain this mission, and we are deeply grateful to every person who has walked alongside us on this journey.

Excitement in the Bless Back Business Academies
The Bless Back Business Academies in both Haiti and the Dominican Republic are buzzing with excitement as the current sessions wind down toward the end of this month. This program has been a game-changer for many, equipping local entrepreneurs with the vital skills they need to expand their businesses, provide for their families, and create lasting change in their communities.

This week, the classes were focused on being a blessing as entrepreneurs within their communities. Three key takeaways resonated deeply with the participants: First, every interaction is an opportunity to sow peace, excellence, and respect. By embracing these values, they not only improve their own businesses but also positively influence those around them. Second, a leader who blesses builds a culture of honor and productivity. The entrepreneurs are learning that their leadership can inspire others to follow with integrity and a spirit of collaboration. Finally, predict success, divine direction, and abundance as acts of faith. This decisive mindset shift encourages them to believe that their business ventures are not just for personal gain but are part of a greater plan, and with faith, they can expect growth and provision.

As Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, "For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." We are privileged to witness firsthand the wisdom that is being imparted to these entrepreneurs, and we look forward to seeing the long-term impact of this training in the months and years to come.
Nurse Marlouse’s Ongoing Impact in the Dominican Republic
In the Dominican Republic, Nurse Marlouse, our dedicated Community Health Promoter, continues her vital work in La Grúa, Baraguana, and Cambiaso. She is deeply committed to supporting families, particularly those dealing with chronic illness. Marlouse provides essential follow-up care, ensuring individuals take their medicines and refill their prescriptions. She also takes time to educate the community about personal hygiene, sanitation, and caring for families. Her visits are a lifeline to so many, and the community eagerly anticipates her arrival each week.
One of the most beautiful aspects of Marlouse’s work is her care for the most vulnerable: new mothers and their babies. She mentors these new moms, offering guidance and support, and checks on the babies regularly. Additionally, Marlouse oversees the menu for the START NOW program, ensuring the children in our care receive nourishing meals that support their growth and well-being.

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 30:17) Marlouse’s efforts, along with the support of our partners, are bringing healing and hope to many, and we thank God for her unwavering dedication.

Serving Those Affected by the Fire in La Grúa
We continue to work diligently on the second housing site for the victims of the fire in La Grúa, a community that has been through so much. Together, we are building safe and sturdy homes for those who lost everything in the fire. This building also features an enclosed area for community programs. This project is a testament to the power of partnership and the generosity of so many who are committed to rebuilding lives in the wake of tragedy.

It’s inspiring to see how a community can come together in times of hardship. The compassion and action we have witnessed throughout this project are proof that we are truly “better together.” Thank you to all who have supported this initiative. We also appreciate your continued prayers and generosity as we work to complete these homes.
Hope for the Children in La Grúa
In La Grúa, the children in our Hope Squad eagerly await their afterschool meals, and it is a joy to see them share their hearts through song after they have eaten. Their smiles and laughter are a true reminder of the difference we can make, one child at a time. Watch a brief video of them singing after their meal, and I’m sure it will lift your spirits just as it has lifted ours.
The Importance of Schools and Clinics in Haiti
As we look to Haiti, the schools and clinics at MOHI have become critical to the community’s survival and well-being.

In a time of great uncertainty, these institutions provide more than just education and medical care—they are places of refuge and hope. Despite the challenges facing Haiti, the strength of the communities we serve is evident in their commitment to learning and health.

We are grateful for the staff (like Madame Saint Fort, who takes great pride in keeping the bathrooms clean and dry) who tirelessly work to support these programs and ensure that every child has access to quality education, and every person has access to the medical care they need. Your partnership makes all of this possible.
As we look ahead to the coming months, we are filled with hope for the future and deep gratitude for each one of you who makes this work possible. Your support and prayers are vital in continuing to move the mission forward. Together, we are bringing hope and transforming lives, and for that, we give God all the glory.

A Final Word of Thanks
Thank you again for all you do. Your faithfulness enables us to serve and to spread God’s love to those who, like me, are in desperate need HIM. We are stronger because of you, and we look forward to all that God will continue to do through this mission.
