“Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” – Philippians 2:2

At Mission of Hope International, we’ve seen time and again how God moves when His people come together. This summer is already shaping up to be a season full of progress, purpose, and partnership—and I'm thrilled to share some of the highlights with you!

Life and Ministry in the DR

We’re making steady strides in the Dominican Republic, and one of the most significant updates is our progress toward purchasing the Mission House. This space will not only serve as a home base for our missionaries, but will also house the medical ministry, the Bless Back Business Academy, Events (leadership seminar, pastors dinners, women's retreat...), and provide a hub for outreach and hosting teams.

We’ve raised $39,850, with $30,000 more pledged, leaving just $10,150 to reach our $80,000 goal. We are so encouraged by how friends near and far have rallied together—and if you’ve been waiting for the right time to join in, this is it!👉 Help us cross the finish line

This summer, our Hope Encounters are filling up, and we’re excited to welcome teams to Luperón. There are still a few spots open for the August 9–16 team, so if you’ve been praying about going on a mission trip, we’d love to serve alongside you!✉️ Get more information here

Looking ahead, preparations are already underway for the second annual Luperón Citywide Crusade, scheduled for October 16–18. Last year’s event had a profound impact on our community, and we believe this year will be even more powerful. With international speakers and popular Dominican Christian artists coming, it’s a major effort—and we’d love your help to make it all possible.🔥 Partner with us

Haiti: Exam Season and Sponsorship Opportunities

In Haiti, our students are entering a high-pressure season as national exams approach—especially for our seniors. These exams determine whether they’ll receive a government-recognized diploma. It’s a pivotal time in their lives, and they’re working hard, balancing studies and the excitement (and expense) of graduation.

The lower grade students are getting ready for Mother's Day in Haiti, which is celebrated the last Sunday in May.

We’re deeply thankful that every MOHI student receives a hot, nutritious meal each day—fueling both their bodies and their dreams.

The clinics at MOHI in Thozin provide additional support to our students, as well as the community.

This week, there’s an exciting opportunity: for every child sponsored, a generous donor will contribute an additional $100 to MOHI! We're up to a $1500 bonus already. If you’ve been considering sponsorship, this is a wonderful time to take the leap.

For just $41/month, you’ll help provide school tuition, uniform materials, books, daily lunch, medical and dental care, and free basic medications, as needed. You’ll also be able to email your child and share photos—a relationship that can blossom into something truly special.💛 Meet a child waiting for a sponsor

Pastor Lex has been in the Dominican Republic and Haiti this past week, supervising some projects and ensuring everything is on track. We are so blessed to have such extraordinary leaders working hard in both countries! The Bless Back Business Academy classes are written in a way that is practical and spiritual at the same time. Aquilina shared a testimony from one of her business students: "When inflation rose and customers began cutting back, I became scared. But I decided to innovate: I created affordable combos and offered loyalty discounts. I understood that listening to their needs was the key to continuing to grow, even in difficult times."

Stateside: Volunteer from Right Where You Are

If you simply cannot travel right now, you can still make a meaningful impact. This summer, we’re building out several volunteer teams—and there’s a place for you!

Here are a few ways you can help from home:

• Join our Creativity Team (graphic design, content ideas, campaigns, storytelling)

• Volunteer for weekly work days at our office in Gardner, MA

• Lend us your unique skills—from admin support to tech help

If you’re ready to serve, we’re ready to welcome you.🙌 Let us know you're interested

Thank you for standing with us in this season. Whether you're praying, giving, going, or sending, you are a vital part of this ministry. Let’s keep building together—because we truly are stronger together.
