Happy Easter!
Jesus is risen—He is alive.
This is a day of celebration, hope, and victory.
As we reflect on Easter, we are reminded that even in the most fragile and uncertain moments, God is at work. The resurrection is not only the promise of life—it is the declaration that darkness does not win.
In Haiti, this contrast is especially visible.
While the church celebrates Holy Week, many communities also participate in Rara parades—often centered around practices that reflect spiritual darkness. It creates a striking picture: two very different expressions happening side by side.
And yet, Easter reminds us of this truth:
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
What feels like fragility does not have the final word. Hope does.
And this week, we’ve seen that hope rising in powerful ways.

Haiti
Rest, Reflection, and Growth
Students were on school vacation this past week, and teachers are looking forward to welcoming them back into the classroom.
During this time, the church leaned into reflection—studying the final words of Jesus through times of fasting and gathering together in prayer. Even in stillness, faith is being strengthened.

Provision Through Opportunity
In Grand=Goâve, the Business Academy continues to make a meaningful impact.
Women in the program are not only learning new skills—they are applying them in real, life-sustaining ways.
One example is Nathalie, who runs a barbecue business. Through guidance from our team and support from Bless Back Worldwide, she is seeing tangible growth.
For these women, this isn’t just about entrepreneurship.
It’s about survival. It's about provision. It's about hope in the midst of fragility.
Medical Care That Matters
At the clinic, Mis Cadet shared her gratitude for something many take for granted: access to medicine.
In a country where many clinics lack even basic supplies, being able to provide consistent care is a tremendous blessing.
Because of partners like Bless Back Worldwide—and supporters like you—patients are receiving the treatment they need.
Even in fragile systems, God is making a way.

Dominican Republic
Provision from the Land
In Luperón, we’ve completed harvesting and shelling beans and are preparing for a yucca harvest.
Our chickens are producing lots of eggs, helping provide nutritious, sustainable meals for both visiting teams and children in the community.
It’s a beautiful picture of provision—God supplying what is needed, right when it’s needed.

Teaching Health Through Simple Habits
At the feeding programs, children in La Grua have been learning to wash their hands before meals.
What started as a simple step has quickly become something they enjoy.
We’ll soon introduce this same practice in Baraguana—small habits that will lead to lasting health and dignity.
Joy in Community
This week also brought moments of pure joy.
The children were excited to see Lex—and even more excited for their first-ever pizza party in Baraguana.

It has been great to see Micha and Eli step in as part of the ministry team!

Moments like these remind us that ministry is not only about meeting needs—it’s also about creating joy, connection, and belonging.
Raising Up Leaders
In the Business Academy:
Level 1 students learned basic accounting and balance sheets
Level 2 students focused on advertising
We’d love for you to meet Daysi and her daughter Nancia, who run a hair-braiding business together.

As a graduate of the program, Daysi is applying what she’s learned—and with increased demand during Holy Week, their business is growing.
This is what transformation looks like.

Faith in the Midst of Fragility: Hope Rising in Haiti
I’m writing to you today from Haiti—just north of Port-au-Prince—in a region where life has become increasingly uncertain.
In recent weeks, gang activity has intensified across the country. Just about an hour south of where I am, a devastating attack reportedly claimed the lives of more than 80 people. It’s hard to fully grasp the weight of that kind of loss, but it underscores a difficult truth: Haiti is in an incredibly fragile place right now.
Here in the city where I’m staying, there is no fuel available at any of the gas stations. Prices have already risen twice in the past two weeks, and the only gasoline you can find is being sold on the side of the road—often in repurposed containers, at double the government-set price, and with no guarantee of quality.
This shortage ripples into every part of daily life. Merchants from rural communities are unable to reach Port-au-Prince to sell their goods. Supply chains are strained. The cost of basic necessities continues to climb. For many families, simply putting food on the table is becoming more and more difficult.
And yet—right here in the middle of all of this—there is something remarkable happening.
At Mission of Hope International, in both Grand Goâve and Saint-Étienne, school is still in session.
Children are still learning.
Meals are still being served.
Medical and dental care are still being provided.
And perhaps most importantly, faith is still being nurtured.
Because of the incredible blessing of child sponsorship, more than 800 young people are being cared for, supported, and reminded that they are seen, known, and loved. In a country facing so many challenges, these children are experiencing stability, hope, and the transformative love of Christ.
This work does not happen by accident. It happens because of people like you.
Every child sponsored represents a story being rewritten—one marked not by fear or scarcity, but by opportunity, dignity, and faith.
As I sit here and witness both the hardship and the hope firsthand, I’m reminded that even in the darkest moments, light still shines. And often, that light comes through the simple but powerful act of generosity.
Would you consider joining us?
By committing to sponsor a child, you become part of something much bigger than yourself. You help ensure that a child in Haiti has access to education, nourishment, healthcare, and spiritual growth—even in the most challenging circumstances.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in Haiti. And thank you for being a part of the hope that continues to rise here every single day.

Closing Thought
This week, across Haiti and the Dominican Republic, we are reminded:
Fragility may be real. But it is not final.
Because of Jesus. Because of faith. Because of people like you.
Hope continues to rise.
Thank you for being part of this story.
