Today's update is from Renée
Jesus taught us in Luke 16:10, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” As we look across Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the United States this week, we see how God is magnified in the seemingly small things. A prayer whispered by a child, a bag of rice, a simple conversation, or a mother’s safe delivery — each one becomes part of a much bigger picture of His faithfulness.
A Call to Help Feed the Hungry
We are launching our annual Food Drive, now through November 1st, collecting these items: white rice, dried beans, cooking oil, peanut butter, canned meats, and canned fish. The donations will be assembled on pallets and shipped to Haïti.

In Haiti today, finding and transporting food is one of the most significant challenges. Yet we believe God multiplies even the little we have. In addition to giving food yourself, if your church or workplace would like to serve as a collection site, please contact alexis@mohintl.org so we can provide printed/digital resources and coordinate pick up or shipping. Thank you!
Your participation ensures that little ones not only eat today, but also grow strong for tomorrow. As Jesus said in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” Together, our small offerings become His miracles.

Stories from Our Team: God at Work in the Little Things
At our weekly international staff meeting, we celebrated how God shows His goodness through everyday moments:
Haiti: Nurse Cadet told of a patient with severe eye irritation who couldn’t walk into the clinic on her own, but left walking out in relief. Zacharie reminded us that sometimes healing is physical and other times spiritual — and both matter.

He also described the incredible joy of the church united in a “grace party,” praising God for all He has done.

Roselande expressed the fulfillment she feels when a child finds a sponsor — something that seems small, but in reality changes a life forever.

Dominican Republic: Mèt Ben rejoiced that children in our programs are now praying before meals on their own — a habit formed through simple modeling.
Nurse Marlouse celebrated the safe, natural delivery of a baby when a C-section was expected, and the compassion of immigration officials allowing the mother to remain with her newborn.
USA: Madona gave thanks that quick communication allowed her to step in right on time to help meet a need.

Each story reminds us of Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
Bless Back: Multiplying Faithfulness
We remain grateful for our partners at Bless Back Worldwide, who faithfully serve alongside us in medical and dental ministry in Haiti. Together, we also partner in the Community Health Promoter program in the Dominican Republic, bringing care, education, and compassion directly into their communities.

In addition, the Bless Back Business Academy, using its excellent curriculum and carried out in partnership with MOHI in both Haiti and the DR, is equipping small business owners to grow with integrity and perseverance. What may seem like a modest step in business or health care often becomes a ripple of change across families and communities.

Looking Ahead: Christo Esperanza de Vida
Soon, the city square of Luperón, Dominican Republic, will once again be filled with worship during Christo Esperanza de Vida. This year’s event will include not only nationally recognized Christian artists but also a full lineup of international speakers, drawing together voices that proclaim Christ’s hope to the nations.
Please pray that people will be drawn to attend, and once there, that they will encounter the Spirit of God in a life-changing way. We are still trusting the Lord to provide the remaining funds needed for this event. Even a small gift can become part of a much larger testimony of God’s faithfulness. Click here to donate now. Thank you.
Save the Date: December 13th – A Year-End Celebration
Mark your calendars! On the evening of December 13th, we will gather together again in Central Massachusetts. It will be a night to celebrate Christ’s birth, reflect on how He has used incredible partnerships throughout the year to bless so many, and to look ahead with expectant faith for what He has in store for this next year.
Time and again, God shows us that being faithful in the little things opens the door for greater blessings. Whether it is a meal, a prayer, a sponsorship, or a safe delivery, each moment matters. Thank you for walking with us on this journey. Your prayers, your gifts, and your faithfulness are never small in His eyes — they are seeds of hope that He multiplies.
