There is a beautiful thread woven through every corner of the work God allows us to do.

From Haiti to the Dominican Republic to Zambia, we are reminded that “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1). No matter the geography, language, or need, we are serving the same Lord and touching lives that are precious to Him.
Haiti – Faithful in the Everyday and the Unexpected
At our medical and dental clinics, our staff focuses on continuous care, monitoring, and supporting patients through the daily challenges of life. Yet we are equally grateful to be here when emergencies arise — moments when God’s mercy flows through quick action, skilled hands, and prayer.

Our school’s administrative staff is hard at work preparing for the upcoming academic year. Desks are being arranged, materials are being prepared, and hearts are full of anticipation for the students God will send.

Feeding children continues to be critical. Jesus reminds us, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me” (Mark 9:37). For many children, a meal is not only their only dependable source of nourishment, but also a tangible expression of God’s love for them.

In the Haïti Bless Back Business Academy, a new class of 24 women has begun their journey in entrepreneurship and discipleship. The first class of 12 women continues to meet regularly, sharing ideas, praying for one another, and encouraging each other in the LORD and in their businesses. This is a picture of Proverbs 27:17 in action: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” The relationships being built are sharpening skills, strengthening faith, and fostering resilience.

Dominican Republic – God’s Blessing on the Work of Our Hands
In several villages, Nurse Marlouse faithfully checks in on chronically ill patients, ensuring they receive ongoing care and encouragement.

Our feeding programs continue to bless children, and we are thrilled to share that a generous donor has enabled us to expand the Hope Squad to include children from Baraguana, alongside those from La Grúa.

Our agricultural projects are thriving — we are still harvesting yucca and making cassava bread, the chickens are growing, and the bunnies have settled in nicely. These simple blessings are reminders of Deuteronomy 28:12: “The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.” Indeed, we see His hand of blessing on our team, our harvests, and our animals.

Zambia, Africa – Love Across the Globe
We are deeply grateful to each person who helped make Lex and Lenny’s trip possible, along with our partners at the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church (Manchester, CT).
After nearly 18 hours in airplanes, they arrived Thursday and have been immersing themselves in the culture, enjoying the food, marveling at the wildlife, and — most importantly — connecting with the people.

Yesterday, they fed and visited with orphans, and spent time in homes where life is incredibly challenging.

Lenny shared:
“Amongst the flies and smoke the people of Misisi are encouraged and faithful that God is good and Jesus' hands and feet roam through the trash-filled alleys blessing the less fortunate and being an active presence to all. I am especially moved by the overwhelming poverty that these children of God experience and yet can be so welcoming to an outsider like me and be incredibly grateful for the small blessings we can provide.”
Lex has especially enjoyed telling people he is from Haiti, hearing them respond, “You are from Africa. Welcome home!”

God’s Story Through Us All
From the yucca fields in the Dominican Republic, to the schoolyard in Haiti, to the dusty streets of Misisi, God is telling His story through His people.
Lex often remembers his own story — a 10-year-old boy who finally got to go to school when a missionary came to his village. That opportunity changed the course of his life. How many “Lex’s” are we impacting together today? And how many more will be impacted because of the way God uses each one of them in the future?
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3:9, “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” Thank you for being co-workers with us — your prayers, encouragement, and generosity are planting seeds that will bear eternal fruit.
