Happy Resurrection Day everyone! Friday was a dark day of suffering, as Jesus was beaten, crucified, and died...Saturday, a day of confusion as all the hopes and dreams the disciples held dear seemed gone forever as their Master and Friend laid in the tomb...Sunday, the day of power as resurrection power brought Jesus back to life and reconciliation became a reality. There are seasons in life when it's Friday or Saturday, but never forget or lose hope, for Sunday is coming!!!
Although last week was Easter vacation at the MOHI schools, you certainly couldn't tell at the Thozin campus. Many soccer games were enjoyed each day on the "still under construction" soccer field.
Each afternoon special church services were held in our churches in honor of the last days of Jesus' life as a man, culminating this morning in the celebration of HIS resurrection and our new life in Christ.
Thozin above and St Etienne below.
Our medical clinic traveled to Fauche and Petit-Goave this week, in addition to seeing regular patients in Thozin.
I was so excited to see Pastor Clement share pictures of he and his wife in celebration of their 29th wedding anniversary. As you can see in these photos, they seem more like newlyweds than grandparents.
Speaking of grandparents - Lex and I are still flying high and totally in love with the wonderful addition to our family. I'm not that least bit surprised to see Alain and Alexis already encouraging Alante in music.
They just surprised me by showing up for Easter dinner. I was so sad that they wouldn't be joining us and then they walked in. I am beside myself.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening and a great week. Blessings to you!
