Each One

Many of our high school students have been attending MOHI's school since preschool. Seeing each one at work in the classroom brings joy to my heart!
Each student is an individual with hopes, dreams, desires, and needs. They laugh, they cry, and they care. The circumstances surrounding them have an impact on their well-being. Here's Rosena writing about the migration problems facing the country.
Learning Bible verses is an important part of the education all of our students receive. Here's one class learning Ephesians 6:2...
Another class is learning Proverbs 22:6...
These students are working hard to make up for lost time...
These students were presenting a report to their class on the importance of Christian education...
We were all shocked to hear that Zachary, who was present and seemed perfectly healthy in school on Tuesday, died Wednesday morning at his home. He was only 8 years old. His grandmother, Madame St. Fort has worked with us for many years. Our hearts break for this loss in her family.
Teachers and administrators meet regularly to pray for the school and students.
Hebrews 13:15, "Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name."
The medical and dental clinics were busy this week. The Lord continues to make a way for our dentists and doctors to get to work. Praise the Lord!
One of the benefits to the little ones in MOHI's baby feeding programs is free access to our medical clinic. Dawensley and Marlie are in the St Etienne program and came down to Thozin to see the doctor. Each one's well-being is important to us.
Here are some of the others in that program...
These little ones participate in the feeding program in Thozin...
In Luperòn, DR we are partnering with a local church to plant crops. The harvest from this garden will help us to provide food to those we minister to.
I've been thinking a lot of Bev (my "other mother"), who recently passed. What it is that we all remember about her? She was one who did everything "heartily, as unto the Lord." None of us wonder where she went when she closed her eyes. And although we will miss her here, we can't help but be so happy for her. For we know, she has spent her whole life in communion with Jesus and yet longing for the day she would see Him face to face. That day has arrived for her and I am confident there was a whole lot of hugging and dancing going on as soon as she crossed over. Her life inspired so many of us. Even in death, she inspires me to be more. I want people to know me as more than just a kind person, but as someone whose love and faith in God impact those around me.
Each one of us has value. Each one of us has a connection to the others.
