A Dieu Mama
Thursday, June 25th, Lex's mom, Lexida Augustin Edme, passed into eternity. She suffered terribly with Alzheimer's disease for decades. She was a woman of strong faith who trusted Jesus with her life. We rejoice that she is free from her feeble body of flesh and is now dancing with Jesus in a place more beautiful than she could ever have imagined. Still, for those of us who remain, the matriarch of the family will be missed. The memories created with her will continue to

Father's Day 2020
Happy Father's Day to all the dads! I have seen so often the change in a man when he becomes a father. I've seen the change in my husband as he became a grandfather. You can imagine how overwhelmed they are and how impossible it is to gather accurate information. Most people who get ill never go to the hospital. We are receiving repo

Happy Mother's Day to all our special moms in Haiti today!!! As we celebrate Mother's Day, I can't help but think of George Floyd calling out to his Mama during his last moments of life. It's been a difficult season on so many fronts here in the US. I find myself not knowing just how to praying. I know tha
